Focus on Sobriety


Sobriety really does deliver everything alcohol promised. Waking up last Saturday I realised I had reached the half year milestone of being sober.

 

In the last six months not only have I lost almost two stone to feel at least ten years younger, I have also written a book, composed a group coaching program on purpose, completed a new coaching certification and run 10 parkruns.

 

Having been formally diagnosed with ADHD last December I now have clarity of how best to work to my strengths and forgive myself for areas that I struggle with. Being kinder to myself is probably the best gift I have given myself.

 

With no more hangovers I am absolutely loving this new normal of sobriety and all this newfound time. In fact I don’t think I have ever had as much fun nor been as productive! This week I have been away skiing with friends and have definitely noticed my increased levels of fitness.

 

So, bring on the next milestone! I absolutely can’t wait to see the fruits of the next six months!
