Intentions give shape to how you show up in the world. They act as a quiet compass, guiding your thoughts, your choices and the energy you bring into each moment. As you move towards the end of the week, setting intentions can help you shift from simply getting things done to living with a sense of meaning and direction.
It’s one of the reasons behind why I started writing this newsletter. Since 14 August 2020, each newsletter has focused on a single theme, offering you a moment to step out of the noise and into a space of conscious reflection. My aim has been to instigate a purposeful pause, a small yet meaningful breath in the week where you can check in with yourself, reconnect with what matters and choose your next steps with clarity. This act of reflection gently nudges you into taking purposeful action.
I chose Friday as it offers a natural pause of its own. Rather than rushing towards the weekend, take a moment today to choose what matters most to you. Intentions don’t need to be grand. They can be subtle, personal and quietly powerful. A single sentence can change the whole texture of your day. By naming your intention, you step into a more deliberate way of living. Let it steady you, inspire you and help you meet whatever comes next with full awareness.
Focus on Intentions. Focus on Why!
REFLECTION WITH ACTION: How do you want to feel and what intention will help you honour that?
